New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte will be addressing the Republican Party's national convention in Florida this month.
The party listed Ayotte among six "headliner" speakers addressing the convention Aug. 27-30.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, Ayotte said Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is committed to making the nation stronger, and he will start by getting America's fiscal house in order.
Ayotte was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2010. She served as New Hampshire attorney general before then.
Joining Ayotte as convention headliners are former Alabama congressman Artur Davis; Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal; Florida Congressman Connie Mack; Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell; and U.S. Sen. Rob Portman.
