Open to the public, admission free, donations graciously accepted. This concert celebrates the donation of the Harris Family Yamaha piano. Reception follows the concer.
GIRL RISING: FILM ABOUT 9 GIRLS BORN INTO UNFORGIVING CIRCUMSTANCES, BETHLEHEM
Friday August 23 7:30 PM Colonial Theatre, Main Street. Girl Rising captures the dreams and voices of remarkable lives and is at the center of a global campaign to educate and empower girls. Directed by Richard Robbins and narrated by Cate Blanchette, Anne Hathaway, Salm Hayek, Alicia Keyes and others. Doors open at 6:30 PM for a pre-screening reception sponsored by Balance Bethlehem. A portion of ticket sales goes to support girls' programs around the world through the 10x10 Fund for Girls' Education.
