Ross D. Franklin / AP
Jack McCain, son of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., touches his father's casket during a memorial service at the Arizona Capitol on Wednesday in Phoenix.

The late Sen. John McCain will be honored during a ceremony at Washington's National Cathedral on Saturday at 10 a.m. Former President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush will give remarks, along with McCain's longtime friend Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and others. WATCH THE CEREMONY LIVE via this NPR livestream:

Three of McCain's children will give readings and Renee Fleming will perform "Danny Boy" at the late Senator's request. Former U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., will be reading at the ceremony, among several long-time friends and family members.

Steve Duprey, a Republican National Committeeman from Concord, who was a senior adviser to McCain during his victorious 2008 New Hampshire presidential primary, traveled to Arizona and back to Washington as McCain was honored on Capitol Hill. In an earlier interview with NHPR, he shared how he first met McCain, and what it was like to be on the campaign trial with him.
