Chatham Trails Association maintains approximately 40 miles of hiking trails around Evans Notch in the White Mountain National Forest in NH and ME. Join us for a FREE weekend of trail work to help keep these trails in good condition. These weekends are a great way to connect with others and to give back to the trails we are so passionate about. Comfortable accommodations available at the AMC Cold River Camp and all meals provided (Friday dinner through Monday breakfast and sack lunch). Prior trailwork experience is welcome but not necessary--we'll gladly teach new volunteers. Event runs from about 6pm Friday to Monday after breakfast with a full day of trail work on Saturday and Sunday and the possibility of smaller projects Monday morning. Registration required by May 15. There is no cost to volunteer at this event and tools will be provided.
