Summer Solstice Sale: Rare and Unusual Plants from New England Nurseries!

Plant lovers will be wowed by the array of rare and unusual plants at this special event, and will head home with high-quality, hard-to-find plants grown by specialty nurseries from across New England. Vendors will include:

Broken Arrow Nursery's rare and unusual perennials and small shrubs
Van Berkum Nursery will have will have native plants and select rare perennials found at Bedrock Gardens.
Bagley Ponds' native trees and shrubs
Mason Hollow's hostas
Boulderwoods Nursery will be selling choice, broad-leaved, evergreen rhododendrons, including species and natives (Rhododendron maximum and its hybrids), native azaleas, native big leaf and species magnolias, choice wildflowers (Arisaema, Paonia, Trillium, Jeffersonia and more) and small trees (Redbud, Stewartia, Metasequoia).
Fiddlehead Farm specializes in fragrant plants, especially scented rhododendrons and azaleas. All of their azaleas are varieties or crosses of native North American plants. In addition to fragrant selections, they will also sell a few deer-resistant garden plants.

Azalea species: atlanticum, arborescens, canescens, austrinum, narcissiflorum, prinophyllum, schlippenbachii, viscosum.
Azalea hybrids: Chocolate Drop, eastmanii-x, Earl’s Gold, Golden Topaz, Hurricane Creek #148, Innocence, Lemon Drop, My Mary, Pink & Sweet, Samford Sorbet, Somerville Pink
Rhododendrons: Dexter’s Honeydew, Dexter’s Peppermint, Nantucket, maximum. Deer-resistant plants: Rainbow Leucothoe, Dorothy Wycoff andromeda, rhododendron roseum elegans. Mountain laurels: Bay State, Carol, Galaxy, Minuet, Nathan Hale, and Sarah.

Bedrock Gardens will also be holding a special sale in our Garden Store to celebrate the Summer Solstice.

Tickets:
No preregistration is needed. Free with a $15 General Admission ticket when you arrive at the Visitor's Center. Tickets include a daypass to Bedrock Gardens. Bedrock Members get in to this special event for free. See you there!
