Learn about New Hampshire's Role in the American Revolution and
the role of Madbury's John DeMerritt (aka the Powder Major) in the Battle of Bunker Hill
as the nation readies to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the battle. Mary Adams with the NH Historical Society is the featured speaker along with an exhibit at the Powder Major's Farm, where DeMerritt lived.
Chuck Goss, who owns the Powder Major's Farm, will share John DeMerritt's story.
The event is sponsored by the Madbury Historical Society and funded by the NH Humanities.
