🌿 Join the New Hampshire Orchid Society for our November Monthly Meeting featuring special guest speaker Francisco Miranda of Miranda Orchids!

We are excited to welcome Francisco Miranda, a botanist, naturalist, orchid taxonomist, and grower with decades of experience studying orchids in their natural habitats throughout Brazil.

Francisco has been involved with orchids since the 1970s and has traveled extensively throughout Brazil, including several years exploring the Amazon. His fieldwork has contributed to the discovery and description of orchid species, particularly within the Catasetinae and Laeliinae groups.

Since 1988, Francisco has shared his knowledge with orchid societies and enthusiasts throughout the United States and internationally.

He is also the founder of Miranda Orchids, a Florida-based nursery established in 1999 that specializes in selected Brazilian orchid species, particularly the Cattleya alliance.

Whether you’re a longtime orchid grower or just beginning your collection, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from someone who has spent decades studying orchids both in cultivation and in the wild!
