The upcoming exhibition at Two Villages Art Society in Hopkinton, NH, features the work of Bedford artist Marcie Roberts. The exhibit, "Colorful Contemplations, Abstract Realities, opens Saturday, September 14 and runs through October 12 at the gallery at 846 Main St. in the village of Contoocook. An opening reception from noon to two on Saturday, September 14 is free and open to the public and will offer live refreshments as well as live music by Gary Hodges. MArcie's acrylic paintings are bright and colorful and often whimsical. She's inspired by the master artists and especially the Spanish Masters, Dali, El Greco, Goya and fantasy artist James Christensen. The gallery is open Thurs thru Sunday, 12-4 pm.
