Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr 2025: Commemorate the 60-year anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965
Voting rights expert Nicholas Stephanopoulos from the Harvard Law School, will deliver the keynote address for MLK Day in commemoration of the 60-year anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Dr. Stephanopoulos' talk is entitled, "Voting Rights in the 21st Century: Election Law for the New Electorate" and he will discuss the changing American electorate and its legal and policy implications.
The program is intended for a high school and older audience. This is a free community event and a meet-the-professor reception follows.
