Book Signing with David Reynolds

Book Signing with David Reynolds

British historian, author, and professor, David Reynolds will be at The Country Bookseller Saturday, September 7 from 2pm to 3pm to sign copies of his book “Mirrors of Greatness: Churchill and the Leaders Who Shaped Him.” Winston Churchill is one of the most celebrated statesmen of the 20th century, revered for his Finest Hour as Britain's resolute wartime leader. He's often seen as a solitary genius, but Reynolds invites readers to look more closely at the dark days of 1940 - offering a novel interpretation of what made Churchill great.
Reynolds is emeritus professor of international history at Christ's College, Cambridge. A fellow of the British Academy, he is also the author of thirteen books. He is no stranger to Wolfeboro as he has been a regular summer visitor since the 1970s.
In addition to the signing at The Country Bookseller, Reynolds will be giving a talk at the Wolfeboro Public Library Wednesday, September 4 at 6pm. Copies of his book will be available for purchase at the event.
For more information or to reserve copies of the book, please call The Country Bookseller at (603)569-6030.
