Arsenic & Old Lace - Milford Area Players

Arsenic & Old Lace - Milford Area Players

The Milford Area Players proudly present the classic dark comedy Arsenic & Old Lace, running March 6th - 15th at the Amato Center for the Performing Arts.

Directed by Alyssa O’Mara, this beloved farce introduces audiences to the charming, and slightly unconventional, Brewster sisters. Abby and Martha Brewster are pillars of kindness in their Brooklyn neighborhood, known for their hospitality, charity, and a very special homemade elderberry wine. Their intentions are the very best… though their methods may raise a few eyebrows.

The eccentric but sweet Brewster sisters are played by Lindsay Garneau and Kaydee Clapper, who bring warmth, wit, and impeccable comic timing to these unforgettable roles. As family secrets pile up and unexpected visitors arrive, the Brewster household becomes the setting for one of the most delightfully outrageous comedies ever written.

Full of rapid-fire jokes, eccentric characters, and escalating chaos, Arsenic & Old Lace remains a theatrical favorite more than 80 years after it first premiered. Audiences can expect an evening of laughter, surprises, and perhaps a friendly reminder to think twice before accepting a glass of homemade wine.

Performances run Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 15 at the Amato Center in Milford. Shows begin Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students, and can be purchased at the door or online:
