A number of recent national polls are showing that if the presidential election were held today between the apparent Republican nominee, Donald Trump, and the Democratic front-runner, Hillary Clinton, the outcome would be very close.

A new poll from Here & Now contributor WBUR singled out the battleground state of New Hampshire and found that Clinton has just a two point lead over Trump among likely voters there – suggesting that the presidential contest is surprisingly competitive.

From the Here & Now contributor network, WBUR’s Anthony Brooks reports.
