Likely Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan meet at the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington D.C. Thursday, one week after Ryan shocked the political establishment by saying he is not yet ready to endorse Trump.

As he arrived for the meeting, Trump was greeted by immigration activists protesting his call to deport undocumented immigrants and ban Muslims from entering the country. Republican strategist and Here & Now political analyst Paris Dennard tells Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson that Trump goes into the meeting with the support of a growing number of members of Congress.
