Former Speaker Of The House Indicted For Hidden Payments

Dennis Hastert, the longest-serving Republican House Speaker in U.S. history, was indicted by prosecutors for payments he made to an unnamed individual to cover up “past misconduct.”

Meanwhile, current lawmakers are returning to Washington this weekend for an unusual vote.
