Republican Candidates Flock To New Hampshire

Almost all of the Republican presidential hopefuls are heading to New Hampshire, where the nation’s first primary is held, for the FITN Republican Leadership Summit this weekend.

Marco Rubio, who declared his candidacy this week, is the featured speaker tonight. Democratic Party hopeful Hillary Clinton heads to New Hampshire next week, after announcing her candidacy last Sunday.

What do the candidates need to be doing in early voting states like New Hampshire and Iowa right now, in order to get a jump on the competition? Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson discusses this with NPR’s Ron Elving.
