California Legislators Consider First Adult Helmet Law In Country

Legislators in California are expected to vote next month on a proposed law that would require adult bicycle riders to wear helmets. It would be the first adult law in the country — many states already require kids to wear helmets.

But many cyclist groups worry that requiring helmets could deter cyclists.
