Immigration in America: Black and White Divisions

NPR's Marcus Rosenbaum discusses the lack of clear-cut divisions between non-immigrant whites and African Americans. Both groups generally differ from immigrants -- they agree with each other on some questions, and disagree on others. Twice as many African-Americans polled, for example, believe an immigrant must believe in God to become a full citizen of the United States.
