Yesterday, celebration turned to fear, concern and anguish for many Granite Staters who were running in the Boston Marathon, watching it, working it or just cheering on loved ones from afar. Several deadly explosions occurred near the race's finish line creating pandemonium As of now 3 are dead, and about 140 are injured. Many frantically tried to search for loved ones to make sure they were safe. Today Granite Staters are scratching their heads in disbelief over how a tragedy like this could have happened, who did it and how this may affect the future of one of the world's most prestigious races. Today we check in with Granite Staters over this tragedy.

- Cesar Rebellon - Criminologist and Associate Professor of Sociology at UNH. He teaches a course on terrorism and was in class yesterday when news of the bombing began to emerge.
- Keith Shields – Executive Producer for NHPR’s Exchange. He had finished running his sixteenth Boston Marathon yesterday about 90 minutes before the bomb blasts.
