That very British voice you've begun hearing on Maine Things Considered belongs to our newest reporter, Tom Porter, who comes to us after a prior stint as a reporter at WVTF-FM, a public radio station in Roanoke, Virgina.

Alex is VPR's local All Things Considered host. He comes to Vermont from WBEZ-FM in Chicago, where he spent nearly five years, most recently as a political reporter. He's covered everything from federal corruption trials, to Illinois' worst-in-the-nation public pension crisis, to the personalities who voice campaign attack ads. He has a particular interest in municipal finance, LGBTQ rights and gun rights.

Lynne is a producer/reporter for special VPR News projects. Lynne joined VPR in 2002. A veteran broadcast producer, she spent 12 years as field producer at ABC affiliate WCVB in Boston, where she did reporting and writing for the award-winning Chronicle newsmagazine. Since coming to Vermont in 1995, Lynne has produced and written television documentary and magazine programs as well as a variety of new media projects.

Lindsey Moon joined Wisconsin Public Radio in Madison as the Lee Ester News Fellow in August 2012. She comes to WPR from Iowa Public Radio where she was a reporter/producer working on both investigative reporting projects and the network's two locally produced daily talk programs. She is a contributor to the Iowa Center for Public Affairs Journalism and is interested in health issues, sustainability, as well as arts and culture.
