With more than 30 years of journalism experience in the Greater Cincinnati market, Ann Thompson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her reporting. She has reported for WKRC, WCKY, WHIO-TV, Metro Networks and CBS/ABC Radio. Her work has been recognized by the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists. In 2019 and 2011 A-P named her “Best Reporter” for large market radio in Ohio. She has won awards from the Association of Women in Communications and the Alliance for Women in Media. Ann reports regularly on science and technology in Focus on Technology.

Sarah is a former Word of Mouth intern and digital superstar. While working on the show, she blogged about social media, pop culture, and all manner of cool stuff. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire at Manchester in December 2013 with a B.A. in English. She was founder and editor of a campus blog and publication called Bricks and contributor to the campus newsletter, Campus Connections. Sarah has a passion for public radio, various types of geekdom, and racing motocross. She is a military brat who now calls Merrimack, NH her hometown.

Larkin got her start in radio as a newsroom volunteer in 2006. She went on to work for 90.5 as a reporter, Weekend Edition host, and Morning Edition producer. In 2009 she became 90.5's All Things Considered host, and in 2017 she was named Managing Editor. She moderates and facilitates public panels and forums, and has won regional and statewide awards for her reporting, including stories on art, criminal justice, domestic violence, and breaking news. Her work has been featured across Pennsylvania and nationally on NPR.

Elizabeth first came to WRKF as a host and board operator in 2002. Since then she has worked extensively in radio in Baton Rouge before heading south of the border to Mexico for two and a half years. She's thrilled to be home in Louisiana and back at WRKF. In her spare time she enjoys music, dancing, and talking to strangers.

Bob is a veteran Vermont journalist, specializing in political reporting. He is based in VPR’s Capital Bureau located across the street from Vermont’s Statehouse. Prior to joining VPR full time in 2002, Bob ran the Vermont News Service for 21 years. The service provided daily local news for eleven stations, including VPR. Bob started the News Service following a stint as news director for WNCS.

Kevin Kniestedt became the host of Morning Edition on WFAE in September of 2013. Prior to that, he spent twelve years in public radio in Seattle/Tacoma and Spokane, Washington, where you could find him on the air just about any random hour of the day. Kevin has spent time hosting both news and music, has interviewed the likes of Dr. John, Chick Corea, and Branford Marsalis, and has authored the list 1,000 Jazz Albums You Should Hear Before You Die. Kevin is also a huge sports fan, loves a good film festival, and can often be found indulging on a massive plate of nachos.

Alan Greenblatt has been covering politics and government in Washington and around the country for 20 years. He came to NPR as a digital reporter in 2010, writing about a wide range of topics, including elections, housing economics, natural disasters and same-sex marriage.

Austin is a member of Colgate University's class of 2017, majoring in Political Science and Philosophy. An accomplished skier and lacrosse player, Austin hails from Hopkinton, New Hampshire. His interest in journalism stems from his love of writing, and his experience reporting on sports for Colgate's student newspaper, the Maroon-News.

Halina is a member of Hamilton College’s class of 2015, majoring in English Literature and Art History. Much of her free time is taken up with training with Hamilton’s varsity cross country and track teams, assisting on the Hamilton Alumni Leadership board, and working as a wilderness orientation leader for incoming students. Halina still finds time to stay caught up with the Netflix original series House of Cards, and her love of dramatic politics serves well for her internship in the newsroom at NHPR.
