COUNTING ON BIRDS, NH PUBLIC TV DOCUMENTARY AT THE LITTLETON OPERA HOUSE
Thursday Nov. 21 at 7 PM Local bird watchers can get a sneak peek at this public TV documentary as well as listen to a post-show panel including David Govatski and Willem Lange. Filmed in NH, Cuba, Ecuador, this show discusses how annual Christmas-time bird hunts were transformed into annual bird counting excursions. The first counts took place in 1900. Following dinner there will be silent and live auctions, and musical entertainment provided by Club Soda. All proceeds from the evening benefit Northwoods Hospic, a division of Weeks Medical Center, which provides hospice services throughout Coos County.
