Jury Selected In Former State Senator Woodburn's Domestic Violence Trial

Todd Bookman/NHPR

A jury has been selected for the trial of a former New Hampshire state senator who is facing domestic violence charges.

The trial for Jeff Woodburn from Whitefield is scheduled for July 31 in Coos Superior Court.

Woodburn pleaded not guilty last year to nine charges, including simple assault, domestic violence and criminal mischief.

He served three terms in the state Senate, and lost re-election last year to Republican David Starr from Franconia.
