Join Adaptive Sports Partners on Saturday, July 27th and Sunday, July 28th, for our most exciting fund-raising event of the year, The Sunrise Ascent on Mt. Washington! The Ascent is an empowering awareness and fund-raising event to benefit Adaptive Sports Partners, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people with disabilities by building community, confidence, and skills, through sport, recreation, and adventure. ASP accomplishes this by offering life-transforming opportunities to individuals of all ages, with all disabilities, in all seasons, regardless of ability to pay.

Before sunrise, on Sunday, July 28th, athletes and their teams will ascend the 7.6 miles of the Mount Washington Auto Road, determined to reach the 6,288-foot summit! Each team includes an athlete with a disability and a crew, who support the athlete, as they climb to the summit. After the teams complete their hike to the summit, roadrunners help to transport athletes and their crews back down to the base area. Volunteers help throughout the event, with set up, registration and the celebratory after-party at the base of the Mt. Washington Auto Road. Together the teams are inspired by the beauty of the sunrise, the majesty of the Presidential Range and the determination shared amongst them.​

The goal for this event is to raise over $100,000 to help fund the operating budget of Adaptive Sports Partners. Each team pledges to raise a summit goal of $6,288.00. For more information, please visit our Adaptive Sports Partners website!
