Spring Book Study Begins: "Is a River Alive?"

Spring Book Study Begins: "Is a River Alive?"

Join NOFA-NH and Seacoast Permaculture for a 4-part Zoom book discussion of: Is a River Alive? by Robert Macfarlane. Is a River Alive? is a joyful, mind-expanding exploration of an ancient, urgent idea: that rivers are living beings who should be recognized as such in imagination and law. Macfarlane takes us on three unforgettable journeys with extraordinary people, stories, and places: the cloud-forests of Ecuador, the wounded creeks and lagoons of India, and the spectacular, imperiled wild rivers of Canada. Is a River Alive? opens hearts, challenges perspectives, and reminds us that our fate always flows with that of rivers.
