BETHLEHEM, N.H. (June xx, 2025)— Join the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests for one of their new series, Rocks Ramblers Outing Club or Rocks Creative Corner, hosted monthly by Forest Society North at The Rocks.

To ramble in the United Kingdom means to get out and walk in the countryside. Come join the Forest Society as we walk, discover, watch, listen, and enjoy the natural world around us. Each month the Forest Society will host a Rocks Ramblers event at The Rocks or one of the many hidden gems of land the Forest Society owns in the North Country. The first event will be held Sunday, June 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Forest Society North at The Rocks, 113 Glessner Road, Bethlehem. The outings will be free for Forest Society members and $5 for non-members. Registration is required.

The third Saturday of the month, the Forest Society will host a kids’ craft/nature hour at Forest Society North at The Rocks. The Rocks Creative Corner will meet in the Carriage Barn, with the first half hour spent completing a craft and learning about nature. The second half of the program will be spent outside exploring the monthly nature theme. The first event will be held Saturday, June 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Forest Society North at The Rocks, 113 Glessner Road, Bethlehem. June’s theme will be about wildflowers and bees. Tickets are $3 per child and registration is required.

“The Rocks has long been a destination for locals and visitors to come and explore nature, take a walk on the trails, sit quietly and read a book, experience Maple Sugaring or hunt for the best Christmas tree,” states Kristine Arey, program director at The Rocks for the Forest Society. “Programming at The Rocks has offered our regulars and visitors respite, curiosity, and a connection to the natural world and we hope to continue to bring quality events and opportunities to engage with this wonderful property and the many properties the Forest Society manages across the North Country.
