Portsmouth Arts Athenaeum Presents —West Point Band, Regimental Brass Quintet
The Regimental Brass Quintet, currently touring New England, will perform at the Portsmouth Athenaeum for a special chamber music program. The ensemble presents an engaging repertoire spanning Renaissance masterworks by Claudio Monteverdi, Romantic-era chamber music by Oskar Böhme, and works by other distinguished composers.
A component of the renowned West Point Band, whose history dates back to 1812 and whose musical roots trace to 1778, the quintet brings centuries of tradition and excellence to the Portsmouth stage.
