Out of the Forest Exhibition

Out of the Forest Exhibition

Join WREN Friday, January 12 from 5 – 7pm (snow date January 13 from 5-7 pm) for the opening reception of Out of the Forest, the newest exhibition in the Gallery at WREN on Main Street in Bethlehem, NH. This exhibition features the work of furniture maker, Ron Ramback and painter, Stephanie Potter, whose works are both influenced by the natural elements of New Hampshire.

Stephanie Potter has been creating art for as long as she can remember, but really began to develop her own style with the creation of her small business, Tree Style Designs. The saws and roofing slates that she paints are pulled out of old barns, sawmills, and workshops, and given new life and purpose. Stephanie uses acrylics and vibrant colors to accentuate the natural brilliance of local scenes.

Ron’s woodworking journey started in 1968 during a high school woodworking class. That was his only formal training (which produced a foot stool which he still owns today); after that it’s all self-taught. Ron’s learning experiences and attitude of perseverance have served him well in his furniture making. Working with resins and compromised wood produces many challenges and can be very unforgiving.

Out of the Forest will be on display at 2011 Main Street in Bethlehem, NH from January 12 through February 26. The Gallery at WREN is open Monday – Saturday from 10am – 5pm and Sunday from 11am – 4pm. Many pieces in the exhibit are available for purchase. The Adair Country Inn & Restaurant is the proud sponsor of the Gallery at WREN.
