“Ocean Adventures” Performance with the Portsmouth Symphony Principal Winds

“Ocean Adventures” Performance with the Portsmouth Symphony Principal Winds

Come play in the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire on Saturday, January 11 from 1-4pm and catch a special performance by the principal wind players in the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra at 2pm! The group, who have performed together for 6 years across New England, will play their “Ocean Adventures” show, taking visitors on a journey across the sea with classic songs such as Malcom Arnold’s Sea Shanties, and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Sea Songs. Your kids will recognize pop culture favorites from The Little Mermaid and Pirates of the Caribbean. Kids voted on three options for a special theme day here at the museum and “Ocean Day” won the popular vote! Friday, January 10th will be the official theme day, but crafts and activities will extend all weekend. This performance is included with museum admission (free for Members) thanks to the generous sponsorship by The Fuller Foundation, TD Charitable Foundation, Abbie F. Moseley Charitable Trust, and the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Reserve online at www.childrens-museum.org.
