Guided Hike: Brooks Fisher Trail

Guided Hike: Brooks Fisher Trail

This Week's Program: It's AmeriCorps week, so come celebrate your local AmeriCorps members! Join Meg and Peter on a special Tuesday hike at the Brooks Fisher Trail in Holderness, NH. We are going to have a great afternoon hike on this 1.7 mile out-and-back trail. It is labeled as a moderately challenging trail (583’ elevation gain) but we will be taking as many breaks as needed, so if you are looking for an excuse to get out there, this is it! If you would like to bring sketching materials or photography equipment, this would be a great time to practice your skills in a low pressure environment.

What to Bring: Please pack sufficient food and water for the duration of the hike as well as appropriate clothing and footwear. Participants should also be sure to have appropriate attire and layering for winter hiking, extra layers, and comfortable water resistant hiking shoes as well as snowshoes and/or microspikes depending on conditions. The SLA can provide snowshoes & microspikes for up to six participants.

Audience: Open to all. Any children attending must be accompanied by an adult.
