Join us for an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 7:15 PM. Etz Hayim Synagogue and the Church of the Transfiguration not only share an interfaith campus but also work together on many activities. These include Elijah’s Table and Interfaith Trips to Israel. One of the major events of this collaboration is the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service. The site and sermon alternate between the two. This year Rabbi Peter Levy will lead the service at Etz Hayim Synagogue, 1 ½ Hood Road, Derry, and Reverend Ray Bonin will deliver the sermon. This service is of particular significance as these two spiritual leaders will soon be retiring. There will be light refreshments after the service.
