An Afternoon with Author Meg Medina

An Afternoon with Author Meg Medina

Join us for a special afternoon of food, books, and lively conversation with the Library of Congress' current National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, Meg Medina. We're honored to be one of four public libraries selected this year for Meg's national tour to introduce her new platform, ¡Cuéntame! Let’s Talk Books!

During her visit, Meg will inspire students and families to experiment with “book talks,” the process of sharing books to start conversations and build excitement about reading. She'll also talk about many of her bestselling books, like "Evelyn Del Rey is Moving Away" and "Yaqui Delgado Wants to Kick Your Ass."

Schedule of Events:

1:30-2 pm: Complimentary lunch. Kids and teens will also receive a free Meg Medina book and a flower they can give to a caregiver, courtesy of the Friends of the Nashua Public Library.

2-3 pm: Meg's presentation.

3 pm: Meg will sign your books!

Free and open to everyone.
