And now, in 2021, Disney has released “Cruella,” a look into that character’s backstory. Set in the 1970s and starring Emma Stone, Cruella follows a young fashion designer navigating a gritty, and cruel world.
And it dares to ask the question: How does one become the type of person that kills puppies to make coats?
