- Annual League of N.H. Craftsmen's Fair: The 85th annual fair at Mount Sunapee begins Aug. 4 and continues through Aug. 12. Visit their website for additional event information.
- Fair Season: The 80th Cheshire Fairhttp://www.cheshirefair.org/ runs Aug. 2-5 at Swanzey, just outside of Keene. This traditional fair features a little bit of everything, from a horse show and tractor pull, to a pig scramble (for teens) and a demolition derby.
- Sailing Regatta: Lake Wentworth has its Sailing Regatta at 2 p.m. Aug. 4. It's at Albee Beach in Wolfeboro,and presented by the N.H. Boat Museum.
- Dance, Music, & a Covered Bridge: In Jackson, Jon Sarty & the White Mountain Boys play Saturday night for a unique block party.
- Progressive Rock:Cherry Glazerrplays at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth on Saturday, Aug. 4. Doors open at 8, music at 9 p.m. See 3sarts.org for ticket information.
