Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham: Wheelchair Motocross

Wheelchair motocross. Yes. It's a thing. An adrenaline fueled and insanely awesome thing. AndAaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham is the adrenaline junkie bringing it to the spotlight. Aaron, or Wheelz as he's called by his friends in the world of extreme sports and Nitro Circus, was born with spina bifida and has used a wheelchair most of his life. Inspired by Travis Pastrana's double backflip on a motocross bike, Wheelz trained to land a double backflip in his wheelchair. In 2010, he succeeded.
