  • Andrew Parrella came to NHPR in 2007 and is our main producer of all on-air promotions and station imaging spots. He also produces our weekly feature/podcast Something Wild and works on special projects like election night coverage and StoryCorps. Most recently, Andrew has been spearheading the push to digitize NHPR's audio archive, and has been polishing and posting gems on the From The Archives blog. Parrella worked at WGBH Radio in Boston, filing stories for the Marketplace Health Desk and working on a number of news and documentary pilot projects. Before his radio career, Andrew spent the better part of a decade as a technician at theatres around New England from Burlington, Vermont to Matunuck, Rhode Island, including New Hampshire's own Palace Theatre.
  • Dan was born and raised in Concord and attended Concord public schools before heading off to college in Boston, where he majored in radio production. Dan spent many years working in commercial radio in Concord and Manchester before starting part time at NHPR in 1995 as a weekend announcer. Dan became NHPR’s Operations Manager/Announcer in 2001 and is now known as “The Voice of New Hampshire”. You can hear him reading the news and weather between programs daily. Dan also oversees NHPR’s on-air and studio operations and manages our weekend part-time staff.
  • Sally moved to New Hampshire from Washington, D.C. in 1996 to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of New Hampshire.

    In 1999, she signed on as an intern for NHPR in order to broaden her professional horizons. She further expanded her skills as an on-air host and has covered a number of different shifts here at NHPR. She recently received her Ph.D. in English from UNH where she wrote her dissertation on Peyton Place. Sally currently teaches at Rivier College in Nashua.
  • Linton Weeks joined NPR in the summer of 2008, as its national correspondent for Digital News. He immediately hit the campaign trail, covering the Democratic and Republican National Conventions; fact-checking the debates; and exploring the candidates, the issues and the electorate.
  • Martina Castro is the Managing Editor of KALW News. She started her career in journalism as an intern at National Public Radio in Washington D.C., and worked with NPR as a producer, trainer, and freelancer before coming to KALW. Martina's independent work has been featured nationally on NPR's Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Day to Day, as well as the online radio magazine The [Un]Observed.
