Austin is a member of Colgate University's class of 2017, majoring in Political Science and Philosophy. An accomplished skier and lacrosse player, Austin hails from Hopkinton, New Hampshire. His interest in journalism stems from his love of writing, and his experience reporting on sports for Colgate's student newspaper, the Maroon-News.

Halina is a member of Hamilton College’s class of 2015, majoring in English Literature and Art History. She has worked as News Director for Peninsula Public Radio in Homer, Alaska, and served as news producer in Bangor for Maine Public Radio in 2004. Most recently, she spent four years working in South Africa as a producer, as well as classical music presenter in Cape Town.

She is a professor of psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an affiliate of the Department of Philosophy and a member of the Institute for Cognitive and Brain Sciences. Lombrozo directs the Concepts and Cognition Lab, where she and her students study aspects of human cognition at the intersection of philosophy and psychology, including the drive to explain and its relationship to understanding, various aspects of causal and moral reasoning and all kinds of learning.
