In Hollis, Kasich Says U.S. Should Move On ISIS, 'Wipe Them From The Face of The Earth'

John Kasich was blunt as he addressed the voters and several classes of local school children who packed into Hollis pharmacy.

The Ohio governor told the crowd the U.S. needs to build a coalition to take out ISIS, and get on with it.

"We need to move quickly now, to go and destroy ISIS where they exist, destroy them. Wipe them off the face of the earth is what needs to be done right now."

Kasich praised the vote by congress to halt the resettlement of Syrian refugees, and said taking what he called a pause in refugees resettlement amounts to common sense. But Kasich also criticized subjecting refugees to a religious test.
