Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney greeted nearly 1,000 supporters at Portsmouth International Airport on Saturday morning. In the final days before the election, Mitt Romney stepped before an enthusiastic crowd in Portsmouth and asked them to help him get elected.  He stressed his commitment to bipartisanship and urged supporters to also reach out to the president’s supporters.

“What I need you to do, is to go across your street to your neighbor that has the other sign in the front yard, and in Washington I’m going to go across the aisle, to the guys who have been working for the other candidate...We’re going to come together.”Romney was joined by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, New Hampshire senator Kelly Ayotte and gubernatorial candidate Ovide Lamontagne.

The race will come down to the wire in New Hampshire.  The former governor and the president have been neck and neck in the state’s most recent polls.

Romney and his wife Ann plan to be back in the Granite State on Monday night.  They’re scheduled to appear with musician Kid Rock in Manchester.
