Upcycled Fashion Show

Upcycled Fashion Show
The Governor Wentworth Arts Council (GWAC) and Makers Mill, two local organizations with a shared mission of fostering creativity, are collaborating on the third Upcycled Fashion Show: an event that celebrates ingenuity, environmental awareness, and community spirit.
Upcycling takes worn or used materials, clothes, or objects and transforms the old into something new, and typically, more valuable. The Upcycled Fashion Show encourages participants to create upcycled fashion designs crafted from recycled or repurposed materials, either in teams or individually. The date of the event correlates with Earth Day celebrations around the world!
This year we are also hosting an Upcycled Art Market as part of the event. Come check out a variety of artistic and handmade pieces using upcycled and repurposed materials.
Interested in designing? It is free to enter your designs into this event and it is open to all ages and experiences.
