Established in Dover, New Hampshire in 1984 in a repurposed 100-year-old piggery, our organization has evolved into a vital safe haven, caring for over 1,000 animals annually. Our organization deeply understands the profound bond between humans and their pets, and we are dedicated to addressing the community need of preventing pet surrender during times of crisis and supporting at-risk individuals and their animals in Strafford County, New Hampshire, and Southern Maine.

As we commemorate our 40th year, we reflect on our achievements and aspirations for the future.
