Special Olympics Maine's Lobster Dip

Special Olympics Maine's Lobster Dip

Dive into 2025 with the Lobster Dip to support Special Olympics Maine!

When: January 1, 2025
Where: The Brunswick, 39 W Grand Ave, Old Orchard Beach, ME
Time: Registration opens at 9:00 AM, Dip waves at 10:30AM and 12:00 PM

Celebrate the New Year with Maine’s original ocean dip tradition—the Lobster Dip. Brave souls from all over the state, including families, friends, teams, and individuals, will be taking the plunge into the icy Atlantic Ocean to support Special Olympics Maine.

Minimum fundraising goal: Each participant is encouraged to raise at least $100 to take part in this exciting event. All funds raised directly benefit Special Olympics Maine, helping provide year-round sports training, free health screenings, fitness programs, and leadership opportunities for over 5,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities across the state.

After the plunge, stick around for live music by The Only Hope Band from 1:00–5:00 PM at The Brunswick to keep the celebration going.
