Scratchboard Techniques from Nature
Scratchboard is a form of direct engraving where the artist scratches off dark to reveal a white or colored layer beneath. The technique uses tools for engraving into the scratchboard, which is usually covered in a thin layer white China clay coated with black India ink. You will receive all the materials, tools and personalized instruction to create your own scratchboard piece.
Physical Demand: [1] = Activity is indoors or outside with up to 1/10 of a mile walking; includes both sitting and standing.
