Pollinator Festival

Pollinator Festival
Join us for a fun, free, family-friendly celebration at the Rollins Park Monarch Waystation Pollinator Garden in Concord on Saturday, August 2nd, from 10 AM - 1 PM. There will be a dedication of a memorial butterfly bench in the Pollinator Garden at 11:30.
Learn about native plants and pollinators from friendly experts. Collect ideas on how to support pollinators in your yard and community. Make pollinator and nature crafts, apply a pollinator tattoo, create a seed ball, and more! If you’d like, wear a pollinator costume, t-shirt, hat, or jewelry. Please bring your own water bottles; this is a low waste event. If you’d like to make a day of it, consider bringing a picnic lunch, the pool opens at 12:30 and is next to the playground.
The Pollinator Garden is near the tennis and basketball courts and next to the picnic table shelter. To access the Pollinator Garden, you could walk or bike, park at the schools, or on South Street or Bow Street. Any event updates will be on the Concord Parks and Recreation Facebook page. If you are unable to come to the Festival we hope you will stop by at some other time to check it out! Groups represented at the Pollinator Festival include: the City of Concord, New Hampshire Audubon, Petals in the Pines, The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, UU ELM, NH Fish and Game, and the UNH Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners program.
