Plants for First Aid and Plant Hazards

Plants can heal us while others can be hazardous. Join us as we walk through the fields and fest of Prescott farm to learn about plants that can cure the pain of a bee sting, prevents an itchy, poison ivy rash, and stop bleeding from a cut. Participants will learn identification and uses of wild first aid plants such as plantain, jewelweed, and yarrow. Participants will also learn to identify natural hazards and poisonous plants and strategies for avoiding wasps, poison ivy, and ticks. Registration required.
