North Country Chamber Players - All in the Family, Sunday, Nov 16, 2pm at Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa

Be sure to join the North Country Chamber Players for their exciting fall concerts when they will welcome the newest member of the Chamber Players family, pianist Reiko Uchida. Ms. Uchida will perform one of her signature solo pieces, Chopin’s powerful Ballade in F minor. Opening the program will be Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 2, one of four works he composed for Mozart’s father’s close friend, horn virtuoso Joseph Leutgeb. Artistic Director, Ronnie Bauch’s father, Jason, was a Cantor and composer. In this 100th anniversary of his birth, the group will perform his string quartet on Jewish themes. Closing the program will be Dvorak’s beloved Piano Quintet, Op. 81, one of the most celebrated chamber works of the Romantic repertoire, known for its masterful blend of expressive lyricism and Czech folk elements, which Dvorak somehow found time to write in between raising six children with his wife Anna, who also played the piano and sang.
