NH author Sophia Collie, Billows of Wrath and Betrayal

Join Gibson's Bookstore as New Hampshire author Sophia Collie presents her debut novel, Billows of Wrath and Betrayal! Collie has been a Gibson's customer for ages, and we're delighted to support her literary launch with her young adult fantasy novel.

Three islands form an unparalleled world. An icy tundra, a deciduous forest, and a tropical paradise. Each one with inhabitants that have learned to thrive in their environment. Separate and serene, except for one day a year. On that day, the islands come together for a time-honored tradition. But this year, there will be no rejoicing. An angry god has awoken, and the fate of Arulea is at stake. The climates are sent spiraling, evil creatures roam the sea, and the entire domain of the realm is shrouded in chaos. Desperate to save their homes, the royal children of each of the islands must join forces and unite against the one they fear most, careful to not lose each other—or themselves—along the way.

WILL THEY PULL IT OFF? OR WILL THEY GET SWEPT AWAY BY THE BILLOWS OF WRATH AND BETRAYAL?

About the author: Sophia Collie is a high school student from New Hampshire. She has always loved to write and wrote her first book in kindergarten titled The Runaway Christmas Tree. She can usually be found in bed with a book and her cat, Phineas.
