Newfound Science Pub | Changing Climate, Changing Lakes

Newfound Science Pub | Changing Climate, Changing Lakes

Dinner and drinks available from 5pm. Program begins at 6pm.

How is climate change reshaping our lakes and watersheds? Across New Hampshire, shifting weather patterns are bringing more frequent droughts, heavier rainstorms, and more variable winter conditions. These changes affect how water moves across the landscape and through the ground, influencing everything from lake levels to water clarity.

Join us for an engaging presentation and discussion about how things like drought, heavy rain, and unpredictable winter weather are impacting lakes in New Hampshire, including right here in the Newfound Watershed. We’ll talk about what these changes mean for water quality, lake health, and the future of the places we love.

This is a chance to learn what’s happening, ask questions, and better understand how climate change is showing up in our local waters—and what it could mean for our communities.
