All are welcome to explore the MAAA Art Gallery at Syd's during normal business hours, but a Special Invitation is being extended to the public for the Grand Re-opening event on Saturday April 6 from 3 - 5pm. In lieu of refreshments and to eliminate any mishaps around the fabulous furniture, the Grand Re-Opening features giveaways for the first 100 guests, live music and more.
Members of the Art Association signed up by the dozens to rejoin the gallery, which had started a decade ago but had gone quiet. "Some art was still there but it was wanting new life," commented Ruth Sterling, the new President of the Monadnock Area Artists Association (MAAA). Twenty-seven artists, 120+ artworks in a range of styles and media, oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, pen and ink, colored pencil, mixed media, are to be seen throughout the first floor showrooms.
