Memories and Melodies: The Kimball Jenkins Family meets the Prescott Organ
Kimball Jenkins warmly welcomes you to discover its fascinating journey in Beyond Blueprint: Unveiling the Kimball Jenkins Legacy, its new historic exhibition opening March 14th in The Mansion.
Kimball Jenkins is delighted to host this historic exhibition simultaneously with an event organized by community collaborator Concord Historical Society. They will exhibit the Concord-manufactured Prescott Organ, from Abraham Prescott’s nationally renowned Prescott Organ Company. Additionally, CHS will facilitate a conversation centered around the instrument’s background and invite none other than R.P. Hale to give an exclusive performance. Hale is lending his talent to this twofold event. Amidst the exhibition displays, Hale’s warm melodies will transport you back to when Samuel Sparhawk Kimball and Cutting & Holman Architects were planning the construction of The Mansion.
The exhibit is open to the public during office and gallery hours, starting Thursday, March 14th, from 7pm to 8pm, in the Mansion building, at 266 N Main St in Concord. We look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable evening of history, art and culture, where memories meet melodies.
