Hear and There: A Weekend of Music

Hear and There: A Weekend of Music

PORTSMOUTH — Get ready for some music!

The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth, in partnership with regional venues and arts organizations, is thrilled to announce Hear & There—a new four-day music experience bringing live performances to stages across Portsmouth andKittery, Maine. The event will take place Thursday, March 5 through Sunday, March 8, 2026, transforming the Seacoast into a walkable winter soundtrack.

From intimate listening rooms to lively restaurants and creative community spaces, Hear & There invites residents and visitors to explore the region through music. Each participating venue will curate its own show lineup, offering a broad mix of genres and emerging artists while contributing to a shared regional celebration of arts and culture.

A Collaborative Community Event

Hear & There is being cultivated by the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth in coordination with its Hear & There partners—Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club; The Music Hall Lounge, 3S Artspace, The Press Room, The Button Factory Stage and the Dance Hall (so far!). Host venues will present their own live shows during the festival window and help spread the word through social media, email newsletters, and onsite promotion.

“Hear & There is all about celebrating the creative heartbeat of our region,” said Ben VanCamp, chief collaborator & president of the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth. “By bringing multiple venues together under one shared experience, we’re giving residents and visitors a reason to explore, discover new artists, and enjoy the spots that make Portsmouth and Kittery such cool communities. We’re proud to partner with so many hosts to make this four-day music celebration come alive!”
